Kris has signed a new 3 year deal to stay at Rovers and with a year still left of his old contract, will keep him at the club untill the end of the 2015 season.
Well done Kris for showing your loyalty to the No1 S/L club in the city and well done Rovers for negotiating a deal to keep one of the best up and coming centres in the league at our great club.

This was put to bed with Watkins and Hardaker getting the 3 & 4 shirts. In all honesty why would Leeds want him? Welham was good last year and I would say he deserves to be called the better player out of the 3 because he's shown his worth at SL level Over a longer period with arguabley less talent around him. But I'm sure in 1 or 2 seasons Hardaker or Watkins hopefully both but defo one of them will be the best centres in SL. They have natural talent in a different class to Welham.

But Welham starts the season the better player, Im sure he will cause Leeds tons of problems and I see him as one of your potential match winners on Friday!

Hardaker and Watkins are dynamite. Leeds arnt looking for centres.

Hardaker was outstanding. His D was awesome and his attack with limited ball was clinical. When he showed individual skills to force repeat sets with his kicks through.

How very strange, the 4/5 players on that side marked each other out of the game. Webster, Lovegrove (in attack) C Hall (in defence) Hardaker and R Hall where all pretty much anonymous all night

I wasn't impressed with Hardaker last night, especially in attack. Looked like a winger playing centre to me, a little lost at times.

If ya say so! I respect your opinion. Let's have this as an on going review as his season and career develops. My money is on him being better than senior.

Thats what I saw on Fri night IMO but the kid obviously has bags of potential, needs to learn the role and Im sure he will get better. Going to be better than Senior, now that is a big statement!

Lazza, you really have a special kind of genius, you've even managed to turn a discussion about another teams player into a negative about Rovers.

He is right though. Rovers were alerted to Hardakers availability and potential whilst he was scoring trys for fun for Fev reserves as a 16 year old amateur. Nobody even bothered going to see or speak to him.

Hull had him hours away from signing before pillow talk between Kath and Gary got in the way and Leeds stepped in to sign him.

Kid had a lucky escape then. agar would have coached any talent he has out of him

That's a big claim to make mate given Keith Seniors career, but I do think Hardaker will turn out to be a top player.
