We have seen the untouchable players no matter what their form be selected week in week out. yet the above players seem to be excluded at the drop of a hat.

and now Dobson who is not the player he was has joined the Jason Netherton for King club.

Is Justin too young to be a coach?
Is he frightend of some players?
Do some contracts state they must play if fit?

What ever the answer is, I feel for the likes of Fox and Watts who just needs some support from their coach.

Why does it need a conspiracy theory? Maybe Morgan's assessment of players just differs from yours, as it does from mine. I can see legitimate reasons for all his choices, even where I don't agree. He's doing what he thinks is best - it just isn't working at the moment.

When as worked this season. Every team has improved yet we haven't. Justin hand picked this team. I think he has been found out and he does not know how to fix it. Players like Fox and Watts do not become that bad over night. Justin needs to coach them not drop them. Or the same rules must apply to the full squad.

I m losing respect for Jm, no player is bigger than the club and if in bad form should be dropped. thinks its bad management. If it happened in the company i work for, the management would be hung drawn and quartered for negligence and that has happened.

We're rubbish and JM has to take the blame for that just as he has had credit for what went before. There is no hidden agenda though, Mick Vella is not part of the Bilderburg group (Scott Murrell ate them in any case), Jason Netherton is not an Illuminatus and the new North Stand will not bring sacred geometry to CP (due to planning issues, probably).

edit: And it isn't about fairness, it's about winning (which we aren't, I know). You pick a team to win a game, not to give everyone a turn.

I can see why Craig Hall has been dropped, he's very good in attack but it's questionnable whether his attacking abilitiy outweighs his obvious defensive frailties. Personally, I don't think so, the amount of tries that appear to come from down his side (I haven't done much research, just noticed it weekly on Boots N All) is huge and he's a weak link in an already weak team.

Conversely, I don't understand why Cook has been dropped at all, he's been one of your better players and was far superior to Mason.

Wire targetted him, he is a lousy defender and should only be selected as a last resort, why we signed him is a mystery.

Wire may well have targeted him but fact is as many tries were scored down Rovers left as there were down the right (4 + 4 with one under the posts).

Remember back to the Wigan away game where Webster was ripped to shreds down Rovers right edge?? Fact is Rovers defence as a whole is lousy and has been all season no matter who has been defending in the right centre.

I'm being politely critical of and negative towards those who can't handle a disappointing reality without conjuring up phantoms.

But equally your logic could be flawed and these people who are 'conjuring up phantoms' may well be closer to the mark than you think. Just because you can't 'buy into their theories' doesn't make them any less credible than your so called logic and rationality (see how easy it is to use certain words).

Peter Fox may be out of favour because he stole one of Justin's wine gums or some such, you're right I don't know. To me that doesn't seem credible. That Morgan picks what he believes to be the best team available seems a reasonable starting assumption. To suggest that something else is regularly influencing his decisions, at least on a conscious level, I'd want to see some compelling evidence. Pugwash gives us lists of, IHO, Justin's favoured and disdained...

Taylor - A youngster who was looking to get in to double figures for SL apps this year and with 11 (and a new contract) already
Watts - Hardly been pulling up trees this year, but 13 games, just one less than the supposedly undropable Jason Netherton.
Hall - Brought in to cover the centres. Welham has been good. Webster less so but I'd pick him ahead of Hall at the moment.
Fisher - First HKR to hit 100 SL appearances, 15 of 18 games this year. He could just have easily gone in the other list.
Cook - Okay, fair enough an odd one.

Murrell - on the fringes of the England set last year and played at 7 for a chunk of the year.
Vella - still probably our best prop. A bit like being the dryest bit of the sea currently, but even so.
Briscoe - Still our best full back, IMO
Webster - well it's him or Hall.

Justin for me will always be remembered for helping to make us a superleague club again and we all owe him for that,but some of his selections baffle me. For me fisher is far superior to hodgson,though hodgson shows a certain amount of promise for the future. Matt cook has impressed every time he has played,yet seems to fall out of favour again without doing anything wrong and then there is jason netherton. Joking apart,can anyone tell me when he last broke a tackle or looked like breaking one.? Nobody can fault him for effort but the truth is he is nowhere near good enough, yet every team sheet seems to contain his name and just to put the icing on the cake he gets a new 2 year deal. Is it me or do we all feel the same.?

my brother in law always prefixes netherton with "never busts a tackle" and has done for a good while now.does he tackle well,not all players are there for their go forward ability,somebody has to do the grunt work

netherton can tackle, fair enough, isn't that part of a forwards job? We have others who can tackle and offer far more going forward.Just not good enough to be in the 17 most weeks. back up fair enough but only get in the 17 when there are a few injuries/suspensions.

what im getting at mate is the majority of teams have a player or so who is good at the graft without being explosive.
dont get me wrong im not particulary supporting netherton(why would i as a loyal black and white),but a team would do well to have all their pack being full of hole punching players who also do lots of graft and stay under the cap.(how much cash left for the backs)
most games have periods were each team has more ball for 10-20 mins and the other side does a bit more defence,and vice versa,hence why most teams have both types of player.
morgan will have his first on the team sheet players,as will every other sl coach.its not favouratism so much as sticking by those you know can normally do the job.the old adage "form is temporary,class is permanant"springs to mind.

i see your point but i still feel netherton is poor. form is temporary, averageness (if its a word) is permanent in nevo's case.
