Do you think current performances, who we r playing and the ko time will have a effect on our attendance on Saturday

i reckon about 7800.A lot of people work on a saturday,plus it being televised wont help,but they should bring a decent following.

I reckon 8,500 plus will be there and it's gonna be a nice day app so the sun normally brings people out of the woodwork.

I think Rovers Board will be delighted with 8500plus cant see it myself, but hopefully your right

They'll expect that as a minimum IMO.

Last year this fixture was also televised and got 8,406. You have the added increases of:
1) Like for like fixture attendances at CP being up this season
2) The draw of Mr "Box Office".
3) More Leeds fans being able to attend with it being Saturday rather than Friday night.
4) Rovers have an advertising banner on the front page of the online HDM.

Whilst I agree that we should be looking closer to 9k this week, I'm not too sure how much attendance will be added by having a banner on the website of the Hull Daily Mail

Not sure about a sellout because they've made an error with the choice of featured player IMO. Could have had a recognisable one like Vella, or Mason say. That would have been magic, so to speak.

Good accountancy that, we'll make the magic 10k at this rate.

I will be in Ambleside, making full use of my season ticket this year by not attending any games.

Judging by the difficulty in getting tickets i'd be very surprised if there were less than 9000 there on Saturday.

Just found out that East Stand tickets won't be available on the day (i.e. pay on the gate) so shouldn't be a 'poor' attendance at least.

I could see our lowest SL gate to date, on Sky, Grand national, playing bloody awful, going to get a paggering.

after certain alleged incidents in recent season's there are a number of Leeds fans now dubious about visitinf Craven Park.
What are the opinions of the sensible Rovers fans on this?

Assume you're mainly referring to the coach window incident (from last yr? Or was it the yr before? - can't remember)

Well, as any sensible Leeds fan would know - we can't really do anything about some individual lobbing stone/brick/golf ball at a coach 500 yrds or more away from the ground. Since that (and similar problem vs Wire one time) I think there's usually some sort of police (well PCSO) presence in the area.

Not sure about any other incidents specifically (elaborate ...) - but any incident that puts off away fans visiting is very disappointing, esp if it's because of abuse/trouble/other.

I'd suggest any potential travelling supporter visit Craven Park to make their own judgements.

I'm sure if every supporter decided not to travel after hearing tales of 'alleged' trouble etc. grounds would be empty.

When I was 15 years old I visited Headingley and our coach windows were 'potted' on the way out, I've been many times since without any problems..

I walk my grandkids along a mile walk to the ground and then back after the game and I cannot remember the last time I saw any trouble, quite often have a natter with opposite fans walking along as well. The last 'bother' I saw at a game was in a derby outside the KC between some divvy fans of both clubs (kids).
