Joel could be about as influential to Rovers future as Mick Vella was when he first arrived. He is young enough to still have his best years ahead of him and he has certainly rubbed off on the other players. Before he arrived as strong as Rhys Lovegrove was running he wasn't exactly hitting the ball at speed, much like other props we have had or have we seem to get the ball stood still yet since Clinton's arrival our forwards do run onto the ball.

Lovegrove was by far your best frontrower against the Giants,and as for the shot by clinton on Mason it was nothing it dint even put him down it just dislodged the ball and from where i was sitting it went backwards, yet another blunder by our merry whistle blowers not to mention the video refs.

over who? peacock, graham,morley and o'meley plus several others have been head and shoulders above him in terms of form already this season..id say he wont be no-where near the dream team next season....

Obviously he was lacking some match fitness when he first came over, but he has been an excellent addition to the squad IMO, and gives the side a lot of go forward when he's on the pitch. Thumbs up from me as a signing
