Leeds limped home against Salford, Saints have had a few recent defeats (plus a moral defeat against Huddersfield's kids), but none of that matters now.

If we were going to have a bad performance, I'm glad it was this week.

The injuries might be more of a concern. Is Fozzard currently available for selection, does anybody know?

Seriously though - we didn't know how Rovers would go in the play-offs before tonight and we're none the wiser still. Good teams, even Saints and Leeds can have poor games.

Leeds had sinfield, mcguire, senior and jjb missing and had a few a acadamy lads in and one player making a debut!!

Anyone who thinks Leeds are off their game right now is crazy!! Leeds were 24-12 up against Salford after been 12 nil down, Leeds also had 2 trys chalked off that with a vid ref could well have Been given. With four of our best players out the kids did well.

I'd hope not. If Senior got 1 match for punching Wilkin I wouldn't expect Gene or Wheeldon to get anything more 1 match.

Can't see either of them getting more than a match if anything at all TBH. Most likely a fine and a warning.

The Stan incident warranted a penalty at most , did not see Wheeldon's alleged high shot.

the game on saturday was just like the one last season at wakey. the crowd was flat the team did,nt click and to think we needed the win to keep 3rd spot all in all it was a very big let down. lets hope its onwards and upwards from now.

remind me how rovers ever became "king of kings" they have'nt won anything substantial for over TWO DECADES !

We had Murrell, Webster, Cockayne and Fozzard missing, Briscoe off after 20 mins and galea injured for most of the 2nd half. We played awfully and had we fox not bombed 2 sitters and had the vid ref disallowed a blatant no try for Obst and a wiped out a good try by Colbon then we would have won a game we had no right to. Theres no excuses there as I said we were well off the pace and Wakey seemed to want it more.

I think we needed a performance like that to knock any illusions out of us that we were going to walk into the play offs and find it easy, a lot will be saying that we have no chance now and hopefully a lot of other teams will think the same. Hopefully we now will knuckle down and pull together as a team. I think we'll get beat on Friday but we need to produce a performance on Friday to set us up for the rest of the play offs.

TBF though,Wakefield also had numerous players missing(Drew,Snitch,Gleeson,George,Martin) and had two kids on the wings.Wakefield also lost Brough and the Newton try was as dubious as the Obst try.
Personally i dont think either team played to their potential,Wakefield just "out enthused"your guys.
