The balance in power has now been verified and it's time for the FC folk to deal with the reality that they are, (in all fairness) the second best team in Hull.

The next derby at Craven Park, will prove to be an embarresing defeat for the black and whites with the return of michael vella, ryan tandy and the new mystery overseas signing.

Not much more I can add to this post. The General has once more spoken the truth. I bow before the great man. We are indeed the Kings of Hull, that massive swing to the east has now officially occured. Well my black n white infested friends maybe it is time to get an order in for 10,000 black n white straight jackets, because like those other 1400 soles that followed Rovers through the 90s and 00s I BELIEVED. HKR Power Freak talked last week of keeping the faith, he was correct we kept the faith and thus shone the fruits of our labour. Three years ago they talked of light years between the clubs, well it would seem Neil Hudgell is indeed Captain Kirk of the Starship Roverprize and he has just taken us to light speed. We are now powering infront leaving that merged administrative (OH I forgot to give him a pen!!!!!!!) cock up mess called the Thunder Sharks in our wake. What a load of garbage. yesterdays game was once of the most awful and boring games I've seen in a long time. Both teams look almost odds on for relegation going on what I saw today. Hull Fc were totally inept and you weren't much better, as the scoreline shows. You only had to watch the Saints Wigan game to see how far behind both teams are. Both of those teams would have put big scores on either hull or rovers yesterday.

Two bad sides and a crappy game, hardly anything to gloat about. Yes you won (and deservedly so) but we can hardly be proud of the game, neither side showed anything to make the rest of Super League worry.

Dont give a hoot! Its two points in the bag, the team will deal with Saints & Wigan as & when the time comes. As for boring what game where you watching? either side could have won up to the last play of the match, there was controversy decisions that could have gone for or against both sides.It was not a clasic Ill give you that but no way was it boring. On the plus point as well rovers will have a weeks rest, before the wigan (who have a hard cup tie on saturday)Match.

Great point and totally agree. I would imagine the lads will get a few days off to freshen up, then it's back to work! This win will put a smile back on the faces and the lads will be back in training with that extra bounce in their steps. I personaly think the weekend off has come at the perfect time!

Just watched the game back and all though we were nowt flash in attack apart for the odd devastating move, our defence was absolutely top notch.

On the other hand, speaking from a totally unbiased perspective, Hull were the worst attacking side I have ever seen in the summer era - absolutely clueless in attack - one the level of a lower NL1 team - and that aint an exageration.

They scored their first try in the last 10 seconds of the first half when players were winding down, and the second from a silly error from Byron Ford...

The FC players couldn't have scored in a brothel...

Enjoy your victory ,any derby win is special no matter how you get them plus its 2 points which was much needed by both teams ,ive no bones in saying you where the better team on the day, and should have won by more ,but as we all know it only last for the next game, you have had 10 years to wait im sure we will not have to wait that long until we restore the rightful order of things ,that is HULL FC being the biggest best supported and most successful rugby club in this town

Geographical fact states that FC have a bigger catchment area and regardless of what improvements we make to our ground, it ain't gonna be as good as the KC.

However, in terms of success, you will find that next season, we will have a far superior side to yours, not to mention 2 more victories this season.

If any of you are truely one of the 1400 proper fans that have followed through thick and thin, then you should really realise that you yourselves are still in a lot of bother and before starting crowing that you are the kings of Hull and Abulance chaser is the next messiah, you shold take a deep breath.

As should you I hasten to ask!!

Why? I am good friends with a few proper fans. I don't know any of you but they are at least showing a semblance of reality. Anyone that has been a proper fan of either club over the last 20 years should realise this.
