Anyway, regardless of the arguments, if NH and they board decides to get rid, realistically who would you want them to bring in?

My first suggestion might be odd, but how about Francis Cummins? Worked wonders with Bradford (most of the time) and really motivates them especially considering their situation. He may not be perfect, but he's also a yorkshireman and might be tempted to join a more stably financed club.

James and Drew Webster. Massive praise for them both from all the professional players they have coached in the past (or the ones I've spoken to). Cheap and cheerful pair that I'm sure have the club in their hearts.

Anyone but Sandercock!!! But I'd be happy with the Webster brothers. James has a good relationship with Hudge, and the fans. So no worries if he was given the job. He'd bite Hudge's arm off if he was given it.

This isn't football where the bloke will get a big payout and then move to Qatar and earn a few more million sheets.

Fans often influence boards of director's due to ticket sales.

I'm far from convinced that Sandercock is the bloke to move us forward, but the senior players really need to have a long hard look at themselves at moment, particularly his signings.

Or you fail to do your job from the first day blame your tools and point out that your competition has better tools, so your employer tells you to choose your own tools he will pay, you forget to buy the fix the defence tool, that is the tool that will stop you looking like a tool instead you buy a collection of old worn out tools that dont seem to be working as you hoped and you dont seem to be able to find a way to use those tools in a way that will please your employer or the people who turn up to watch, after a year of regularly failing it is maybe time to realise, even with the best tools in the world, some people just aint cut out for the job

Sandra, life ain't fair sometimes. Success and longevity go hand in hand. He will never achieve the former. I'd rather Hudge dealt with this problem now before all is lost this season, as has a lot (not just this season may I add) of future turn over will be effected to keeping our club mid table than cannon fodder.

WHY when did he become a coach

Suffered a ruptured bicep in the pre season and he's talking about helping out with junior coaching. He reckons he will play again in 4 months. I don't see it.
He is currently head of the players union.
He has had top level coaching since he was 10 years old, including playing under Bellamy and Bennett, so he must have picked up a few clues.
Also his wife, who comes from your neck of the woods I think, has just had a baby and might like to be around family.

So 4 games we have played so far and against some of the best sides in the competition. We have matched these sides for a large portion of these games and our most recent defeat to St Helens was only totally lost in the final 7 minutes.

Yes those "Tools" Craig has brought in are not brand new and have experience but as with any old and used tools they will be a bit rusty and have certain ways they like to be used. The user of those tools, and in this case it is Sandy, he has to work out just what works and what doesn't work with these tools he's brought in.

It is clear for all to see that our frailties are out wide, these in the majority are not new tools to the club but have the very same problems that Craig tried to replace down the middle. Money only goes so far and by improving the middle he's been forced to make do with the old backs that make poor defensive choices and have numerous brain explosions.

So what does he do to address this? He's brought in an international winger who in his first appearance made the very same mistakes our own squad members do, so is the problem the centre? My answer is yes but who is out there that could go to centre and fix us up? Do we have the finances available and under the salary cap to bring in two new centres that can add to our defence while not losing anything going forward?

If we can do that then there is no need to replace the coach because the problem can be fixed by bringing in new 'tools' if we can't bring in new players then again why replace the coach? Justin Morgan couldn't improve the defence out wide what is to say any other coach could improve it with this crop of players?

The one question a board should ask is, do the players want a new coach for the rest of the season? Sit down one to one or have a ballot box for them all to cast their vote secretly. If the players are happy to stick with the devil they know and are prepared to take the fall themselves for their poor performances then I firmly believe we should get behind Craig and give the players the support they all need. If the players feel they'd be able to give more to someone else then I'm happy for the board to ask Sandy to leave and bring in someone the players feel is good enough for the job.

Craig came over with a reputation that I don't think he will have lost back in Australia. He's worked with some of the best in the business and they all rate him highly and would probably have him on their staff once more so I doubt he'd be without a club for long.

I don't think he will take us to be champions but I do think for this season at least he deserves to be kept in the role unless as stated the players need someone else to get better out of them.

What about the Castleford game were we had enough ball and field position to win by at least 20 points yet lost by 20 saying that I would give him to the end of the season he deserves that

Should Sandercock leave, I'd prefer someone of experience to come in. I feel sandy has always had ?s over him due to his lack of front line experience. However, the thought of having James Webster at the helm sounds good but I see his next move as head coach to be in the championship. A good, realistic fit for us would be someone like McLennan or Simmons. Both have experience either side of the world and produce well drilled outfits, particularly McLennan.

Lose one of the next 2 games and I couldn’t care less who deserves what, we’d become realistic bets for the drop and that can’t be allowed to carry on out of misplaced sentiment

I know what your saying Stan but this is his team it takes time to gel this amount of new players I'd give him at least half this season
