With 8 regular rounds left, I've rummaged around for my crystal ball, to come up with the following dead cert predictions. So from Frack Central, here's what will happen in SL 2016.

- Rovers to finish 11th or 12th at the end of SL Rd 23
- Rovers to finish 3rd in the Middle 8s
- Widnes to contest the million pound game with Leigh
- Hull FC to complete clean sweep of Derby wins
- Hull to beat Catalans in Grand Final
- Warrington and Castleford to contest the CC Final at Wembley
- Leeds coach Brian McDermott to resign or be sacked
- No Leeds players in the England squad for the 4 Nations except Ryan Hall and Tom Briscoe
- Marwan Koukash to continue to be a total c*ck
- Danny Houghton, Dave Taylor, John Bateman to contest 2016 M o S. Houghton to win.

A win at Wakefield on Thursday and I still think we could secure 4 home games in the middle 8s. I'd snap your hand off for third in them. Hull must be hot favourites for the last Derby - they're in excellent form and I think we're 0 from 8 in games against the current top six. Long time to the Grand Final, but on current form that looks as plausible as it'd be unpalatable.

To be fair to the Black and White supporters who live near me around here, they are a good lot.

They certainly needed something to shout about this year, as they were all universally calling for Radford to be sacked last year. Maybe I've mellowed in my old age, but if they don't crack on from this point forward and win the GF this year, then I would sincerely hope that Danny Houghton wins Man of Steel, because that would be richly deserved imo.

I said at the the start of the season,if we are still in superleague at the season end, I'd be be highly delighted and nothings changed !

Houghton has been immense but I would argue that Ellis and Taylor have been better.

My mistake PR misread the quote and went off the the universally comment , again sorry just a bit defencive on the Lee Radford sacking front ,had a lot of rovers fans claiming we were all calling for his head

I see Phil Clarkes predictions of Hudds winning 8 from 8 lasted a long time, to be fair that result threw a spanner in the works I was hoping they got out of the middles and dropped Widnes and maybe Wakey / cas back in them.

I can't see anything other than bottom 2 for us, Leeds are as a bad as I've seen a team play, they look like wakey last year but you do feel they will click at some point, probably once the middle 8's start. Million pound game for us but can see it being away at Leigh which would be a worry.

Long way to go yet but I think the current top 4 is the top 4 at the end of 23 rounds, I can't see Saints doing anything to change their form. Wire will kick on now and Wigan will get better. Hull is a funny one, I though they would have imploded by now but they are scrambling the tight ones which is always a good sign for a team. Still think they'll fall at the semi stage of both the cup and the play offs which will be a good result for them but will feel like a lost opportunity.

We need to win at Wakefield for starters I still can see hudds getting out and salford are in a false position

I think you really need Salford to overtake Widnes as feel that would be your best chance to finish 3rd in the middle 8's, a middle 8's of you, Salford, Leeds and Hudds would be a nightmare. I reckon this is why you aren't bringing in any loan players, I'd expect you to make s couple of signings for the 8's.

For us I really think we need to win something either this season or next whilst we have Ellis and Mini, I don't think we will have a better chance, at the start of the year I would have snapped your hand off for a top 4 place, now I'll be disappointed if we don't make one final, don't think we will get s better chance. Good thing we haven't played for 80 minutes at all this year and even when patchy we are still picking up wins, although in a big do or die game this is were we might come unstuck. We have done well with injuries and an injury to Sneyd we could be in trouble.
