From what I heard, Rovers are not interested in a loan deal for Spencer. Any deal would have to be permanent.
Murphy on loan for the season would make perfect sense though. Would initially offer perfect cover while Burns serves out his suspension (allowing Hall to move to 6) then provides 'insurance' if Hall isn't able to make the adjustment to full-back, buying Rovers the time to reavaluate recruitment options.
