Think the bloke called nick that comes on here will be able to answer these questions more so ill leave it to him as im not as clued up on this subject.

Greyburn Coached Sirius under 11s (from year 7-9). Seeing how well the team was developing Rovers made a smart move and gave him a role with performance of youth development or something.

As he has coached the sirius team he I suppose will have a pull on some of the players.
