I am pretty sure many fans on here will remember Tony Botica, an ex-Kiwi player of Rovers in the late 80's/early 90's.

Forgive me if I am repeating old news (though I personally don't remember it reported at the time) but it was mentioned by Gary Prohm over the weekend that Tony had sadly passed away a few years back.

Gary was apparently a good friend of Tony and said he was a lovely guy who had nothing but fond memories of his time at Hull KR.

I played with Tony at Parramatta in the 80's and this is the first i heard of this news.

Unless 100% confirmed we best lock sorry.

Sadly proof has been provided.
Tony died aged just 45.
