I remember Dave Parker running a story that our kid was subject to a transfer enquiry from another Super League club and that both clubs were discussing the transfer. A phone call to his Football Manager put his mind at rest that no talks had taken place or indeed would take place. It was all made up he said.
A month later the transfer had gone through!
