All i wanted to do was talk about an old game were the 'other lot' were stuffed to bring silverware to this club that i attended as a 7 year old.

It's obvious most on here are fans that jumped on the bandwagon since we were promoted to SL and haven't a clue about the glorious 84/85 season were we was in the running for every trophy on offer.

I'll give you bandwagon jumpers/new fans a clue...

This is about your's team's performance in the 1985 JPT Final, not the Good Friday game.

It does make you wonder if some of the young fans of either of the two Hull club bother to learn of their respective histories, some of the younger Hull fc fans for example probably think Knocker Norton was a claped out old motorbike.
The Hull Kr 84/85 season was indeed a memorable one, as were the majority of the eighties and hopefuly reminds us all of why we aspire to be a top club once again.
