Quote ="Reenyrobin"I didn't go today, so obviously only have what I heard on the radio to form an opinion, but it sounded like Fox had a shakey day at the office. However, the person who phoned Humberside and suggested that he was dropped is getting FAR to excited imo. We all have crap days at work, when things just don't go well (rugby players are no different) and to call for him to be dropped, is quite frankly, a bit silly! Fox contributes far and away more positives than he does negatives.'"
I sometimes wonder if some posters and callers are in fact Fc fans masquerading as rovers fans judging by their knee jerk reactions, we've played two games and we have some people suggesting we drop Fox and replace him with Hall, unbelievable!!, i could understand it if he had played seven or eight bad games on the trot but not after just two slightly under par performances, give yer heads a bang for goodness sake.
Fox is a tremendous player on his day and i am sure he will regain his best form and make a huge impression this season as all good players do, the last thing he needs is some people slating him and calling for him to be dropped after couple of slightly under par performances, if we did that with every player throughout the season we would end up playing half of the reserve team.
As regards Hall, he will get his chance at some point but more likely in the centre position rather than on the wing.
