Quote ="Digger_the_Dog"I have no anti-Rovers bitterness. I just do not want more money spent on an area that has had Preston Road re-developed and has a new School in progress.
If just one Rovers fan could give a good reason why a new Stadium should be built in East Hull then I will consider changing my view but not a single reason has emerged.
The Boulevard work will benefit the whole area, Hull are also contributing to cost.
What would a new Stadium do for the area in East Hull some building work at CP wouldn't? What is being spent at the Boulevard could be spent building community beneficial projects at CP but no, Rovers fans don't want that because all they really give a stuff about is a new stadium for Rovers, they don't care what facilities are included for the local kids or jobless because it is all about the Rugby Stadium.
And if the stuff the players are telling people is true Rovers wont be needing any extra seats in CP for a while yet as results wont be picking up

Hopefully i can justify your comment then you will see the light,
HullFC average attendance in SL 1998 onwards
Boulavard 1998 = 5143
Boulavard 1999 = 5103
Boulavard 2000 = 5667
Boulavard 2001 = 5821
Boulavard 2002 = 7126
KC Stadium 2003 = 11,479
KC Stadium 2004 = 10,971
KC Stadium 2005 = 10,862
KC Stadium 2006 = 11,360
KC Stadium 2007 = 13,470 (year the derbies started)
KC Stadium 2008 = 13,313
KC Stadium 2009 = 12,009
KC Stadium 2010 = 13,300
My point being that before their new stadium Rovers have consistantly outsold them in super league years and after a new stadium FC have virtually doubled there fan base, surely the same could happen in East which could then be only good for the economy in large as more fans from other parts of the country would travel and spend their hard earned the way both sets of Fans from this fair city do every other week!!!
