Couldn't agree more.
Unfortunately coaches these days are more interested in their own jobs than the development of young players, not just a dig at Agar btw, but coaches in general. There is less and less emphasis on position specifics now and first grade coaches expect young players to just fit in, adapt and get on with it rather than receive the necessary coaching that will enable them to develop naturally into a position best suited to their ability.
