I'm enjoying all the speculation/gossip about who plays who and who is allowed to choose who in Week 3; the bare facts are that I've got an honours degree in applied maths but fully understanding Club Rovers and the Play-off system is making my brain hurt with all the ambiguous wording prone to misinterpretation. And I thought that rugby was meant to be a simple game!
As mentioned in earlier posts we'll have to beat St Helens (twice?) and/or Leeds on their own mud to get to Old Trafford. In reality finishing 4th is great and means that if it goes to form then we should make it through to Week 3. Even if we lose then, what a game that would be! And playing in (perhaps) 3 play-off games would give us a great platform for next season (with a couple of cracking new signings please).
Winning every game to the end of the season makes it less likely that we'll be seen as an easy pick in Week 3 so there's still lots to play for this season.
