"I'll just have to see what options are available and which one best suits me and my career, I'm fed up of sun and beaches, if only there was a place where I could train next to a waste treatment plant or something." Thurston told the Australian magazine Rugby League Week.
"But I've enjoyed my time here at the Cowboys and they'll certainly be the first people I talk to.
"This is definitely the biggest deal of my career. I'll be 27 next year so I don't think there will be too many more contracts after this one and I want to make the most of it."
