Smug? Hardly. Amazed TBH especially without players we expected to have at the end of last season for one reason or another (Crocker, Carvell, Raynor, Tony). We are far from being a fluent team with ball in hand, but the things that have surprised me in a good way have been our fitness levels which are a world away from last season and the improvement in intensity and performance by a pack I thought would get smashed by the packs of Catalans, Wigan and Huddersfield (Radford, Dowes, Cusack all disappointing last season but very good in the 4 games so far). Let's face it, there's only one way for us to go, but having finished next to bottom last season, results so far have been a very welcome surprise.
