heard a rumour today that ballard is coming to the nw crusaders next season. any good?

Defo a player that I wanted to retain at Barrow, apparently we couldn't afford what he was asking. A very good winger who scored plenty of tries for us can also fill in as fullback and is a more than useful goal kicker, he is certainly one player that can leave with his head held high, unlike some over the over paid rubbish we have had over the last few seasons, which is more than partly the reason we are in the mess we are in now!

Interesting to read that James Finch and Liam Harrison may be utilised as forwards next season. I've thought for some time that Harrison would make a great forward.

Just read Andy Bracek confirming to Elliot Kear that he's signing for you on twitter. After all the crap you've been through it would be a good signing but not sure how true it is.

Any news re Martin Ostler & Zeb Luisi ex Dons players , cannot see us (the Dons) re signing them.

Rumour has it Luisi is following Dave Clark down to South Wales. Ostler lives in Barrow now so hopefully will be offered terms down at CP

Andy Ballard really exciting signing, I was worried fullback is position we would struggle to fill with a quality player.

As for Ostler I'm led to believe he is off to France.

From what I've seen so far I wouldn't be at all surprised to see the squad trimmed by 3 or 4 players from the current 28, it would also be very nice if we could add another very big, nasty prop with a bit of experience, we must have one of the smallest packs in the league.
