When we played Whitehaven and Barrow there was that small amount of animosity towards those clubs but Batley is a favourite place to go and watch rugby, not just for me but many Widnes fans.
You thoroughly deserve your day in a final and I make you favourites considering the way we have been playing, however I hope its a great game and the result goes in our favour.
Whatever the result I am sure it will be a great afternoon of Rugby League.

Just to echo what John has said already . Was very confident we'd win the previous 2 finals , tomorrow I just wouldnt bet on it , think we will win but by a small margin late in the game.
Always enjoy trips to Batley and the craic with Bulldogs fans , have a great day apart from the result .
