Not sure that this is a bad thing in that we have all the northern rail cup games before the season starts- we are unlikely to progress and will more than likely face hard opposition from Championship- so perhaps too many friendly matches will take their toll on the squad later in the season.

I think Hunslet have got 4 with 2 against SL opposition- good for the coffers, but could be potentially bad if a few serious knocks are picked up.

So far we've only got one friendly lined up with none over Christmas like usual. You never know, we might be heading your way
