It has probably been asked before but how does the Salary Cap work for Championship 1 teams, viz a vie Toronto? Do the normal rules on overseas players not apply.
This isn't Toronto bashing, I am curious how they can operate a full time squad from the other side of the world.

Salary cap is 50% of income or 1.38million quid or whichever is lower that is across all 3 professional leagues...I wonder how many of the Toronto's squads family work for the club....

With respect, I am not sure where asking question will get you all.

Better I believe to just tell Carl that you are not happy and will walk away UNLESS things change dramatically.

There is a contradiction here ... Club Doncaster want the best but settle for a lot less.

Stop watching ... hit the buggers in the pocket.

If they go bust they deserve it.
Take up something else.

Maybe a more general question for Carl would be :

If coaching, fitness and motivation isn't the sole problem then funding, recruitment and the club's management and overall strategy should also be subjected to a root and branch review if the Dons are to achieve the objectives of their five year plan ?

I do not want to stop going but it is hard to get motivated , it is just as well I have a season ticket !
What is annoying is nothing different was tried in the 2nd half , fair play to London ,they wanted it more than us !

I got the feeling in the first half that London were playing in second gear, for whatever reason. I thought their game plan was to hold us in the first half and then get us in the second. That tactic looked to have backfired as we seemed to be too far in front.

They did spring into gear in the second half, we looked to be lacking energy and we all know what happened next.

GT will say that without Feka and Muranka our interchanges were limited but that shouldn't have made such a big difference.

I agree it is tough for us (as fans) to get motivated for the forthcoming games as our style of play is boring to watch and we all believe we're going to struggle against any of the half-decent teams in the league.

Coaching apart, we seem to have messed up with player recruitment now for three seasons running. Is it a budget issue? Are our backroom team not able to spot the right players to bring in? Whatever the mistakes, we don't seem to be learning from them.
