The above is not a factual statement. The bloke that had a go and chased the 'young lad' was in handcuffs later on outside the stadium, he was wearing a Queens top. The young lad who was chased was in tears and the lady did appear to be heavily pregnant. The 'handcuffed' male was one of the dozen at the front tanked up, goading the stewards refusing to sit down and and spent the first half shouting abuse at Wayne Riettie (Dons number 5). They where spoiling for a ruck and succeeded. Drink fuelled and pig ignorant stupid morons.

Queens were all over them you call doncaster a semi pro side??? they were garbage... they should replay it bcos queens players had nothing to do with the incident n nither did the doncaster players it was a fair match on the pitch no excuses!! it was 14-12 not 16 the last kick from the doncaster player never went over one touch judge put his flag up and the other didnt... they should of finished the match without the fans in the stadium then there wouldnt after be a replay

So the players should of waited around say an hour to get rid of the fans. Come back out then continue the game. I think you need to direct some of your frustration out on the plebs who let the players down.

Queens played well and it's not surprising that their fans should be vocal and enthusiastic about the occasion....but it is clearly a sit-down stadium....not some local amateur ground were you can stand and move about.
They didn't respect that and that was the cause of everything.
As for they were going on to win....I doubt it.....but they can say that now......for all time.

doesn't surprise me at all, my sons team played a game at queens in the under 12's and he was on the wing and the parents were threatening him.
Then the supporters blocked my car in a woman with 3 twelve year old kids in the back, big and brave of them. I could have under stood if any of the lads had done anything bad but all they got was intimidated and abused.

I will never go there again. I hope the RFL throw the book at them they have got away with too much for too long.

I dont know what happend or who started it or why but the RL paper this morning there was the usual faces from Queens.
The same faces who have causing trouble for years hope fully Barla or even RLF will dispand this club like they did with Redhill and never have them back i have been both Doncaster and the Moorend clubs loads of times and never had trouble there.
The statement from the Queens chairman just somes this club up he was more botherd why the match was abandoned and wanted to know why rather than been ashamed of the thug suporters who follow them.

They looked mostly white Caucasians to me, the queens supporters, so why would there be racist comments thrown about.

So this individual was as a minimum involved in two incidents. You're right he deserves everything he gets!

I don't know how much RL you watch and at what level - but as for Queens going on to win, somewhat unlikely. The pattern of the game was similar to many cup ties over the years where the underdog gives it a go for 50 or 60 minutes but eventually succumbs to the team from the higher division in the later stages. That was just the way it was going on Saturday. And lets face it those supporters hell-bent on causing trouble have denied the team the opportunity to be the exception to this rule.

Responses like this pose a question. Did you know there was going to be trouble? Because that level of stewarding is more than adequate for most RL games played at the Keepmoat. So if you believe there weren't enough stewards, that suggests to me that you think followers of Queens are likely to cause trouble wherever they go.

What a sad, sad day to hear about this. Thankfully I wasn't there to see it. If I was I would have had my 15month old baby with me.
I always said that the first time I see fighting between fans I would stop going to matches. I've been very lucky so far and not witnessed any.
I hope this gets sorted and the QRL fans get what they deserve!!

I too was shocked by that video on youtube--but the heading on that video is bordering on being libelous to both the fans of Doncaster Rugby-league Club and the Doncaster Club itself.

I've never heard any racism from the Dons fans in my entire time watching Rugby League.

This lot have been at it for years. Get rid. They're not wanted by the RL community - it's a hard game, but a fair game and there's very few games I've played where we've not had a beer with the opposition afterwards.

In all the years i have been going never seen any crowd trouble at any game involving Donny...

Its not even fair for me to say get rid of amateur teams from the comp as majority of us are involved in that part of the game..

That close to calling it a day....would have gone spare if my wife and 6month old lad had been there...lucky enough none of us were.

Bald head, Denium jacket and cheque shirt, thats the guy who started the trouble and has a foul mouth and was spitting, I can also say that all Doncaster supporters have been cleared after CCTV footage has been viewed.
