I am not as it happens but as I said your team struggled to get out of their own half against 12 men and with another referee Worky may have scored twice before you wrapped it up with the late score under the posts. They lacked a play-maker on the day but those two disallowed tries could have made it a different result.

I suppose you could be right ,i may be blinkered , but all i saw from workington was a bit of brute force and not much else. The Dons stood up to it and took their chances, scoreboards don't lie.The only part of our game that worried me were the short kick offs, didn't seem to be able to deal with them too well .

worky did not play rugby they played thugery they tried to out muscle us and that failed hence the big fat zero they all seemed to be vastly overweight so they went to fish and chip shop on carr house road after the game

My take on the game is:

We did well with what we had available and the team we were up against. We didn't create many chances but when we did we were clinical, add to that a near faultless defensive display (for some reason a strong defense is not seen as a positive or match winning attribute of Rugby league) and . To limit Workington, to 1 try in 160 minutes of Rugby at the Keepmoat is not a fluke, it is an attribute which has been the backbone of a successful game plan over a season in which we finished top of the table.

Yes we will more than likely have to improve on that if we are to beat Barrow who will be harder to shut out and with the missing players it is not going to be easy, we will not be favourites, just as we were 6th or 7th favourites to win the league at the start of the campaign, and we proved the odds are not impossible to over turn.

But whatever happens next week I quite frankly couldn't care less. We have done more than I expected or hoped, we've picked up a nice fat cheque on the way and have, at the very least, a day out and another cheque coming our way.

As regards the ref, he didn't do us any favours in the first half, so I thought it evened itself out.

We made them look better than they are in the second half by inexplicably stuffing the ball up our jumpers. Had we attacked them down the flanks more I think we'd have won even more convincingly.

Glad someones mentioned the short kick off, I've been wondering why we hardly ever try one it usually catches teams out if tried occasionally.

We just ran our little guys straight at their big guys when circumnavigation might have been a more sensible option.

Am presuming the ref put Thackery on report for levelling Robinson, although I didn't see him signal? He didn't give a pen. so that can be the only reason Thackery has been charged. To be honest, I was amazed when Robbo carried on after being flattened like that. I felt sure he'd been concussed.

He started well but he definitely went off in the second half.

The brilliant thing about all this, is that we will be in the final, and if we play like that and win then people maybe blinkered, albeit I am sure someone will then come on and say - 'If Barrow had been playing as good as they could have etc...

TM usually delivers a plan that is aimed at his opposition - we sustained the same number of injuries in one game on Sunday as we have all season - food for thought?
