Hearing good things about the Sanderson try??

We didn't quite beat the bookies' handicap but the winning margin was tidy enough. Newcastle weren't a bad side and showed why they beat Oldham in the last round. They've got Workington at home next weekend. It'll be interesting to see how that one works out.

Thoroughly enjoyed the game. It was played with passion throughout. I hope the good crowd (756) enjoyed it and will come back for more in 3 weeks time.

I hope we can all see the Jack Sanderson try again with the great break from Miloudi from his own in-goal area to the half way line. Maybe we don't want Lee Radford to see it though. We don't want him to see what he's missing. Perhaps we ought to let him see the clip where Hakim raced off the line to tackle someone and missed him!

Seriously, it's skills like that that excite fans. I love watching Hakim play.

Brad England was great again as he has been all season. I thought we looked good defensively for most of the game. The attack was a bit jittery in places. Considering the number of penalties that were given against us, it could have been much closer than it was.

I hope nothing else comes of the incident that went on report or the fact that there was some unwanted scenes after the final whistle.

One of the best tries I've ever seen. Miloudi was about to get tackled in our in-goal area. He beat several men with his side-stepping and twisting in the tackle before eventually showing a clean pair of heels to the Newcastle defenders. He was about to be tackled by the Newcastle full-back near the halfway line before offloading to Sanderson who was backing up on the left wing.

Sanderson outpaced the chasing pack and scored in the corner.

There were a few Hull shirts in the crowd today. I made a post on the Hull forum yesterday giving your lads an update on how the loan/ DR lads had been doing.

I felt sorry for Richard Huby in the second half ... he was sitting three rows down from me.
I had had a sherbert and had warned myself to be quiet ... well that all went out of the window earlier doors ... I blame the ref ... lol
But to make matters worse a guy three rows beihind me was worse than me.
I thought he was gonna have a coronary.
So Richard ... I hope your hearing has recovered.

really enjoyed the game (ref tried his best to spoil it) lots of positives a few poor patches they played well when we let them,,, what happened at final whistle I left as soon as whistle went. no doubt their No 7 was involved ?

1 of their players approached Connor Scott for a chat but was ushered away.

It was the brother of the player sent off.
