True enough ... but nearly 5-times as many people live in the borough of Doncaster than in the borough of Barrow-in-Furness.

There's not much more the club could be doing on the field. What we've achieved over recent years, especially with the budgets we've got, is nothing short of remarkable.

Unless Doncaster can move forwards, and that can only be done with better attendances, we won't be able to keep our best players, and Paul Cooke will probably get fed up too. I'm sure he'd like to be able to be building for next season like Andy Hay at Fev is doing.

Barrow at the bottom are getting more than 1,000. Come on people of Donny - give the club your support!

No decent football in the Cumbrian area means that they get a few more watching rugby.

There were comments made by people in and around the ground before kick off (and before fans came in) about how Hewer has it in for Barrow, and that he hates Barrow, and to be honest, the comments I heard made by people within Barrow RLFC about him were extraordinary.
