You wouldn't be surprised if you saw us play every week, were class at turning possesion over and giving away penalties when we've got the ball!!! Fair play to you today, thought your guys gave it a good go which is all you can ask for as a fan.

why would you want to do that apart from maybe this season 1 up boring rugby is the way whitehaven always played and it kept getting them to the playoffs probably cause they put the opposition and the fans to sleep.

Quite agree we looked like Lions led by a donkey today, the lads played with a lot of heart but we have no PLAN B.

Why do we not go for the 2 points when we get a chance, its not like we breach the line that regularly with our ball up the jumper approach to Rugby.

We are always going to make errors with the style of rugby we play. I for one are not complaining because in all my years of watching Fax i can honestly say im watching the best rugby ive ever seen.
Credit to Donny for most of the 1st half you stood up and competed well. looks like you came to play mistake free rugby and capatilize on our mistakes and i thought it worked well for you. I dont think the scoreline is any disgrace for you and i fully believe `better` teams will come to the Shay and be on the end of much bigger beatings.

The lads did well again yesterday but I cant believe nobody has mentioned Mr Hicks performance, particularly the Wayne Reittie "knock on" a yard from the try line.Scandalous decision that prevented us going in front just before half time.

What!!!! He was tackled and dropped the ball which then went yards forward before being picked up by the supporting Doncaster player. Even the most myopic supporter couldn't have let that one go.

The touch judge was giving the try too...from where were stood the defending player knocked the ball out in a one on one so the direction it went doesn't matter

This won't be popular, but I thought that the defender hit Reitties arm (not the ball) causing him to knock on.

Never saw the incident but a new ruling came in last season or the one before which you will of heard ! "loose carry" this means it's the ball carrying players responsibility to make sure the ball is secure.

Just another gray area in the rules.

Reittie's response to the decision also said much for me. No complaints from a player who can be 'reactionary'.

Just for the record, I was talking to China's dad at half time and he felt it wasn't a try either.

In the interests of balance, the try Halifax scored less than sixty seconds later should have been ruled out. Watene, not for the first or last time during the 80 mins, failed to regain his feet prior to playing the ball in the build-up.

Watch the video clip. Greenwood's tackle is around 3 minutes in. The tackle was around the legs so no way did he knock the ball out, it was clearly knocked on. Watch it with an open mind and then tell me how it could possibly be a try.

You're right...when my head is at someones hip height it is impossible for my right hand (which you can see is already higher on that clip) to be any higher than my head

Also interesting how the play the ball before you last try of the first half was emitted
