Not been in for a while but it did have last time I was in.
It's still listed in Donny Drinker (CAMRA) as having real ale.

| There was a real ale at the Knights ground when I was there ... a lovely golden ale, can't remember it's name, but perfect in the hoppy way I prefer (and wanderer doesn't ).

| Attendance prediction: How many do you think will attend on Sunday?
I'll gauge it on the following scale:
Over 800 = Excellent
700 to 800 = Very Good
600 to 700 = Good
500 to 600 = Quite Good
400 to 500 = Okay
300 to 400 = Disappointing
Under 300 = Poor
I hope I'm wrong but my guess would be around 350.

| From what I understand from the past, the pavilion has real ale on regular. The last time I was there it was Tetley Imperial.
They ordered in casks of real ale which were sold from the stand on a game by game basis. They were also known for very good pies.
As I'm walking there I'll be able to partake in an alcoholic beverage.
If the pitch is being relaid again next season, and this game works, why not plan a couple of "on the road" games. Rather than spend a full month on the road play a couple of "home" games at Castle Park. These can be marketed well in advance. Perhaps it would be better to allow for that extra game anyway next season.

I'll plump for something in the 'Okay' bracket.

| Can't blame the ground for the lack of atmosphere, very quiet for most of the game, only about 10 Whitehaven fans didn't help. But i must agree with you, i prefer the keepmoat, though there were quite a few on tha way out who said it should be repeated. Personal preference i guess. I thought we had enough possession in the first half to be out of sight, didn't make the most of it, second half looked lethargic and Whitehaven found metres' easy to come by. But a wins a win and keeps us ticking along.

| Bear in mind that was the first time we have ever played at that ground, and there was a pitiful attendance from Whitehave supporters (we took more up there), I thought it was a good experiment.
I have no objections to the Keepmoat. It's just crowds of 500 in a 15,000 stadium are ridiculous. I would far sooned play in a smaller ground for those crowd sizes.
I was disappointed the terracing wasn't open though. I wanted to stand, and I'm sure a few others did too.
Walked home in less than 10 minutes. That was great for me.

| Enjoyed the experience at Castle Park. Like Originaldragon, it's within within walking distance for me too.
Thanks to all at Castle Park for their hospitality.
I do like the idea of the subs being in front of us as opposed to across the other side of the pitch at the Keepmoat. It's nice to be able to clap the players when they come off. We could even see the numbers on the interchanges. Pity we can adopt this at the Keepmoat.
Does anyone know the official attendance?

League Express gives it as 680 (although 600 has been quoted elsewhere).

Better attendance than I expected with the late notice and poor publicity. If I had'nt got internet I would not have known about the change. Anyone who went to the Keepmoat would have been really sick.

The attendance of 680 came in at Good on my scale. Well pleased for everyone concerned. We should certainly considered playing there again if the Keepmoat is out of action.
