I presume the 'pitch repair' period cannot start (or be decided) until the Rovers have played their last home game which is why more advanced planning can't be made on this.

If the 'repair period' is later, it could start to impinge on Rovers pre-season friendly arrangements.

It then makes it difficult to plan Dons fixtures.

It really isn't ideal having to play away from the Keepmoat and less ideal still having to go out of town.

Looking at the league fixture list ... I think we will be pushed in 10 out of the remaining 13 games.
Given our injuries, and possible additions given our track record, we will struggle to finish top of the pile.

It will be Whitehaven, Oldham, Skolars or Hunslet rather than us.

We did this last year and I wrote us off and then the coach had a settled team. Who knows, predictions are fun (or not) we will end up where we end up (tired cliche time) it will all come out in the wash (provided the launderette stays in business)

That's the difference. If I could pick a full strength side if everyone was fit even minus Hull players but including loans I could name the best side in this league. This is leading me to an inevitable conclusion and I'm inclined to agree with Jemmo. The issue is not with players here.

This year we haven't got Jack Logan & Brad England who ripped teams to pieces on the
right edge last year, they were nearly unstoppable. Also the lad we had on the wing from Hull all season.
But we definitely need a record breaking run of wins on the bounce again {all remaining games i suspect}
to get something from this season.
Otherwise its curtains i'm afraid.
