He has stayed relatively injury free and has great potential.
We will miss him loads.
Still ... we have enlisted Bibb as a replacement. Is he better??

I like him too.
I thought he had a great first half vs Rochdale in our losing play-off game. He was involved in everything.
In fact bringing Kesik on (who I also like) for Emmet was a mistake. Emmet was playing that well.

I know ourplayers play for match fees but does this type of contract stop us signing them for 2 or maybe 3 years so if other clubs do want them we get somthing or am I being daft

Good luck to Adam Scott our best forward. Perhaps at Batley he will be allowed to get the ball out in the tackle like he did when he first joined us and he may well revert to the 2nd row where he plays best.Kear will bring out the best in him IMO.

Wasnt he allowed to get the ball out in the tackle in the 2nd half of the the season. I'm sure he wasnt told not to offload or am I missing something !

Who said anything about paying loads of money out? I ask if they could sign the players for more than 1 year at a time?

I liked Sott Spaven.
To lose him is a blow, particularly to such as Dewsbury, who let's face are hardly the best.
Now we have to start again with a scrum half pairing which was already weak, but is now crippled.
Soul destroying!

Championship side and good luck to him. Had some good games for us but as often the case seems to be rembered more for his under par performances. Took some stick from our supporters both on the field and on this forum which may have helped him in his decision.Who knows?

Yes good luck to him, sometimes he seemed to have a game plan of his own .

I don't think he took much stick.
He was well liked.
He had three mare games, that doesn't constitute a witch-hunt.
Otherwise he was great and got plenty of praise.
He hasn't been driven out, he chose to go.

He was often the only source of attacking ideas and got little help, that is probably more to the point.

He certainly hasn't been driven out, he has been wanting away for some time to be fair.

He's a good player and deserves a chance at the higher level.

If he had a little bit more pace he could make an signicificant impact. It'll be interesting to see how he gets on.

Fully agree with you SO.

His worst game was undoubtably the one at Keighley but then again everyone was off form that day.
There were other games though where he shone and I think he had the best kicking game in him that we have had for a few years as well.
Best of luck to him at Dewsbury i say too.

Scott wanted to leave half way through last season ,yes the kid can play but if his heart is not in it then it is time to move on to pastures new,and good luck to him at the Rams. There are a lot of players available and we need a reliable half back, we have made some good signings and there will be more to come before the start of pre season. coyd
