Feel the same. I've seen plenty of him and ive considered him one of the best props in the championship. This is probably our best signing so far.

He adds something which I've felt we've lacked a few times in recent years, and thats proper punching power from a front rower. We've got some pretty mobile forwards in our squad, but, other than the likes of Frankie Mariano, we've no real size in there.

Certainly seems to be a statement of intent from the board.

This week has been insanely good for signings. Jack Logan, Harry Carter, Watson Boas and now Ross Peltier. Good times to be a Don's fan. Now. Get Chrimes, Halliday, Cross, Boyle, Spiers, Douglas, Mariano, England, Wilkinson and Hedges announced and we'll be buzzing

Well it has been one a day all week - do we think that will continue on weekends or will we have to wait until Monday?

Add possibly 2 new backs (1 out and out full back) and 2 more forwards (1 more quality prop and possibly a utility forward) and we have a promotion winning side

You know something we don't Rob? And if so any chance on a 2 for 1 special with his brother because I see Wellington as more of a backrow/utility forward and Stanton was a massive prop.

100% Hedges, Mariano, England, Douglas, Cross, Halliday... for squad depth yes to Spiers and Chrimes... for me it’s a definite No for Boyle, I think we can do a lot better... Wilkinson is a 50/50 for me but happy to give him another year after being out for so long last year.

I'm same except for Spiers I think he is too lightweight and struggles against the bigger packs.

You're probably both right. Maybe should be aiming higher. Just the day before signing Peltier myself and Donny plumber were discussing potential signings and jokingly suggested him (thinking no chance)!

Unless we sign Sonny Bill Williams this week I dont think there's much point

Quite happy with that , need plenty of middles .

It would surprise me if Russ was more than a back up this season ,and for me,he along with Boyle are lacking the impact of other forwards in the division.
We struggled without Douglas, England and Frankie and some more beef up front is definitely needed.
Hopefully a few more higher quality forward signings to complement the quality of the back line.
