Last w/e a hard fought win 30-16 over Brotherton,leading 22-0 at h/t lost our way a little in the 2nd half not helped by a penalty count of 2 to one against however we are top of the league

This Saturday 18th the 1ST Team are AWAY at Wyke in the cup subject to the pitch being playable,its not the best

Last week won 40-20 at bottom club Selby,just shows never take anyone lightly as we were 16-4 down at h/t but got our act together in the 2nd half.

As expected last w/e game was postponed due to a waterlogged pitch

This Saturday 25TH JAN we are at HOME V Allerton Bywater k/o 2pm

This Saturday 1ST February the 1st Team are AWAY at Sharlston "A"

Last w/e a comfortable win over Alllerton 38-4 in horrendous conditions scoring 9 tries and only 1 goal between 3 kickers most of them difficult chances from the wings

The pitch at Sharlston is not playable so the game has been reversed and we are now at HOME K/O 2-30

The Game is now OFF Sharlston cried off not enough players

Sorry state of affairs when Sharlston cannot raise a team !

The Sharlston coach was happy to reverse the Fixture saying he had contacted his playerswho were ok then all of a sudden only 9 players were available.

The 1ST TEAM are AWAY at Wyke tomorrow the 8th Feb in the cup however i am not optimistic because of the weather,watch this space

The 1st Team are at HOME tomorrow the 15TH Feb v Sharlston A k/o 2-30 subject to weather

Last w/e an excellent win 30-8 in atrocious conditions at Wyke,the ist time this season we did not have 17 players due to injury,sickness or work commitments there are now match reports in the DFP on a regular basis

This Saturday 22nd Feb the 1STTEAM are AWAY at Boothtown(Halifax) who are 2nd in the League,another tough encounter

Last Sat a 36-6 win v Sharlston and we should have had another 4 tries.Look on u tube tollbar@penninerl for 46 mins of the game

The U12S are AWAY at East Leeds
SUNDAY the U8S are at HOME V Featherstone Lions & th U9S ARE AWAY at F,stone Lions obviously too difficult for both age groups to be at the same venue

The cup game should be very interesting both teams top of their Divisions and scoring lots of points,last season they beat us 28-4 in R2 but did have 3 conference players playing
As expected a tough game at Boothtown last week see the Free Press for a report

CHAMPIONS

The 1ST TEAM smashed Boothtown 68-12 to become 1ST Division champions on Saturday,one League match to go then the Andrew Bennett Memorial Trophy Final v West Leeds to look forward too
The game will be the 2nd match in the Pennine League Finals Day to be held at Batleys ground on Monday the 5th May
