Is everyone digging shelters for the arrival of "hurricane Bertha" or just nothing to say?. I think that this weeks game is a very crucial part of our season we must win (cos, of the threat of points deduction) and win with style, a top 4 place finish is very important to the club, we need to win all our remaining games. come on guys lets have some team news / club news any firkin news. lets get behind the team for sunday. Need to win really, hopefully the recent happening's, and performances, will give the team a "something to prove" attitude. Think we will win, but it would be nice to see a decent performance, always think we look better if we are more adventurous and move the ball a bit, but i feel the result is the most important thing , regardless of how it comes.

Yes, we need to get behind the lads this weekend to help them bounce back from the last couple of games.

Workington have been in good form and will be difficult to beat.

Tom Hodson should be playing. He always gives us the scope to strike from a distance with his pace. We've missed him.

Mike Kelly and Liam Cunningham should be a bit more match fit after last weekend's outing.

It'll be interesting to see if there are any Hull players in the squad.

I would like to see lee waterman and liam welham start (and play all the game) at centres with pass dunn coming on as a battering ram at some point, agree with the posting last week, re, waterman and dunn being a thorn in the side of the seagulls, thought they both did a lot a damage, our forwards need to be up for the challenge as worky have a good pack. am l right in thinking that mike, l can give away loads of penaltys for peanuts, Emmett still has a week of his ban left. Although we miss his leadership around the park. I don't think Cunningham looked fit last week, seemed a bit off the pace, Hodson on the wing and sando on the bench please, castle ,kesik and carbutt to start soften them up then bring on dunn, let him splat a few, hope we don't see much of bertha.

Featherstone's loss on Thursday night means that a win today will put us back to within one point of them.

Halifax play Featherstone next weekend so somebody has got to drop points there too.

Waterman should play the full 80 mins for me.
Why he doesn't i don't know, he is fit enough, Peacock can do it for rhinos and he's 10 yrs older.

Dunn will be a good signing, he is improving game on game.

Massive game today, weather is going to be a big factor.

Would like to see Waterman play more, but looks like he is struggling with his shoulder to me.

Emmitt will be a big miss again today for me, yes he gives away a few too many penalties but he does all the dirty work that often goes unseen.

don't know what l was worried about, (sharp intake of breath) thought the whole team played well in general still gave away too many penaltys (cant blame big mike lol) some silly mistakes but some good tries scored by us, there second try was ridiculous never seen a more forward pass in my life. not one of our most spectacular performances but a good 3 points in the bag, well done lads,

Thought Miller had a good game again as did Cas and Pas but Snitch was a deserved MOTM IMO.

O/T I noticed in the chairman's comments section of the program Mr Scarrow mentions that Dons fans will be especially pleased that Tom Carr had a good game for Whitehaven - is he Doncaster born or have we signed him for next year and I know nowt? I've put it here to not draw attention to it just incase it was a slip up.

Much better today , thought Miller should have got MoM , he probably would have if he had got a 3rd try from a Cas offload .

The two tries Jacob Miller got definitely turned the game our way. Pity he slipped when almost in for a third. I couldn't have disagreed had he got man of the match.

We're the first team to beat Workington for some time. We won the game comfortably when most of us would have settled for any win today.

It was good to see Shaun Leaf get a try and I thought Matt Carbutt had a really good game. Steve Snitch has been awesome for us since he signed.

Loads of credit must go to all the team for a way they applied themselves.

Bad news on the injury front with Kyle Keswick having a possible broken hand and Mike Kelly having a possible broken foot.

Excellent result today and a very decent performance. Pity it appears to have come at a cost with the injuries.
