I thought the highlight was when we scored..........Mr Preece (Batley's No 1) had given instructions to nil us....the gobby mare.


The Batley players were crestfallen.
It tickled me when he was instructing his team mates at restarts 'no mistakes'.....and then he was the first to make one. How I laughed.
Apart from that we had nothing to cheer.
We defended with effort.......but offered nothing in attack.
It can't last much longer can it?
Playing at Fev is getting us NO shekels......so it's just stacked against us in all ways.

As I am sure that you are aware, when things go against you the last thing you need is f*ckwits from other Clubs gloating!

The main worry today from today was the fact we only got near their line twice.Once after about 2 mins when China nearly scored in the corner and at the end when we did score.Batley certainly arent the best team in the league but if we cant get near the line or defend better against them then I dread to think of some scorelines in the next few weeks.

Also it has to be said another poor turnout from the donny fans.Diehards only today and it will be the same or even less next week.
The thing is the lads need our support more than ever now.Please try and cheer them on with us next week if you can, and not stayaway!

We twice got into the opposition '20' midway through the second half and forced passes only to find 20 seconds later the opposition was touching down at the other end.

Sheffield (next weeks opponents) are much better equipped to cause us pain than Batley who are still the most likely candidates to join us in next seasons Championship One.

It will probably be about the same next week.

Where are the positives?
I am past caring now and will just see it all through......this could be our last season and so I want to be able to say......I was there.
I was going to rag it in knowing that we will just get pasted every week from now until the end of the season or until we go out of existence....but I have had a rethink and now think bollox....I'm a Dons fan.
I wish the RFL would have some compassion and dock us 9 points NOW and not for next season which would cripple us if we manage to continue.....which looks increasingly unlikely.....both for the points and our survival.

I didnt go to the game today due to it being re-scheduled (i think) as i was working. The result didnt matter...nothing matters other than to continue as a club.

I'm 100% positive this will happen...even if we wont be competitive for the next 5 years....surley we cannot and won't dissapear.

Yes, it was re-scheduled. Batley were (incredibly) still in the Challenge Cup when we should have met originally.

Dont under estimate Batley with wins against Whitehaven, Widnes and picking a point up in Toulouse in out previous three matches we may even make the play offs
