I'm gonna temper that SO. I'm concerned that Hull's result may affect our selection though I'm not sure how. If Cam Scott is recalled then Liam Welham steps in so no major concern. We're a prop short so I'd like to see Lane remain to potentially step up if needs be with Fun Time Frankie! Main concern would appear to be Jez Litten. Shame to lose that rotation. So potential props. Is Osborne available? Despite all this I'm really looking forward to this game.

Can't take Oldham lightly at all, it is a big game and we need to be at our best. I just hope the players remember the thumping they took at Oldham. Quite right to highlight the link with Hull and its anyone's guess who RH can call on with it being the Hull derby.

We will be without Russ Spiers , who will be a great loss. I doubt Liam will be available .

I wouldn’t have Harris back currently even if he was available... our halfbacks are playing well and so is Sanderson at full back so don’t think we need him unless we get an injury... we could do with a prop or 2 from Hull.. anyone know the availablity of Osborne or beinek ??

If Hakim Miloudi is available, we've got to play him. Quite where is another question but he must play.

I'd probably play him on the wing and use his jinking runs to help get us away from our own line and out of our own half with some fast play the balls.

Logan also dropped.Short on confidence but a decent centre at this level.

Like I said earlier reguarding Harris, we have to keep our 1,6 and 7 playing together regardless of who is available from Hull. I would deffo have miloudi in the squad though if available. He could play wing,centre, lose forward or have him on the bench as a utility.

Ideal bench player as well IMO. He can come on and just about play anywhere in the backs and is capable of turning a game in the blink of an eye.

The full Hull squad for their game against Hull KR on Friday night is:

Hull FC (from): Shaul, Faraimo, Tuimavave. Griffin, Talanoa, Sneyd, Taylor, Houghton, Minichiello, Abdull, Washbrook, Fash, Manu, Litten, Paea, Lane, Downs, Matongo, Harris.

The back line will almost certainly be the first five on the list above. I think Sneyd and Liam Harris will be in the halves with Jordan Abdull at 13.

The starting props will be Taylor and Paea. Minichello and Manu will be in the second row with Danny Houghton at hooker.

Matongo will be a bench prop and I'd guess Danny Washbrook will be used as makeshift prop off the bench.

The other two subs would then come from: Brad Fash, Jez Litten, Jordan Lane, and Jack Downs.

I'd suspect it might be Brad Fash plus one other. The two that don't make it will come to us.

Which five Hull players would we ideally want in our squad this weekend?

If Miloudi is available, he's a certainty for me. I suspect Lewis Bienek might not be fit yet. We very much need Ross Osborne. My preferred five would be Miloudi, Osborne, Litten, Lane, and Sanderson. We're going to be in a similar position to Hull and have to rely on a makeshift prop with Russ Spiers out. In fact, if Ross Osborne isn't available we're in a quite a difficult spot.

Would we maybe bring another prop in before the deadline tomorrow ??

York have today signed prop Jack Ormondroyd on loan from Leeds until the end of the season.

Gadwin Springer isn't needed at Castleford but I suspect he's out of our price range and Catalan's are rumoured to want him on loan until the end of the season as well.

It looks like York are losing their better duel reg players from Hull kr, as it seems Hull are sending them to Leigh on loan... Idd be hoping we can add a prop as I feel we can’t rely on Hull is this area as the ones available always seem to be injured
