Lewis Bienek was signed by Hull from London Broncos earlier this year. He was then loaned back to London for the rest of the season. He has now been recalled by Hull.

According to the Hull Daily Mail, Bienek isn't expected to play for Hull's first team. It would seem logical to think he could be coming to us.

I wonder if this was part of the arrangement we made with Hull when we sold Liam Harris to them?

With the lack of go forward that Hull experienced in the second half at Warrington, I would be surprised if he does not make their bench. Monster of a kid for his age by all accounts.

We have Taylor, Green, Fash, Matongo and Paea all at prop and all fit this week. So Bienek won't be needed to play for us unless we get another few injuries at prop

May as well get game fit with us then.

Pretty sure we pointed this out to carl about a month ago about being weak up front and he brushed us off in his own defensive arrogant way and now after a few defeats we sign a big mobile prop! The club is run so poorly it's untrue!

Good signing , should give us the go forward we have been severely lacking over the last few weeks.

Would prefer it was on loan for the rest of the season rather than just a month deal, hopefully he want be recalled magically on a Friday evening when Hull are short.

Now a skillful halfback ad we might be getting somewhere Reece Dean is playing amateur at the moment.

If it's a loan rather than dual reg then I don't think we can.

According to the RFL rules, the parent club can recall a player at any point during the loan period but the player cannot then go out on loan to any club again during the original intended period of the loan.

For example, if the loan is for a month but the player is recalled after one week, the player cannot go out on loan at all during the following three week period.

RFL rules: C 1.2.15

It is not supposed to be possible during the first month of a season long loan either and yet somehow that was done. 4 times. I wonder if this month loan will last any longer than the season long ones we had at the start of the year?

I would prefer that the players were ours totally or on a set loan period so that the coach can build with them in mind rather than having to crowbar people into the squad at the last minute.

If we are going to stick with the silly DR then the DR players should be seen as a bonus to the squad whereas at the moment they seem to be essential.

Other clubs seem to be managing much better than us and on what we are lead to believe on smaller budgets.

There's no such thing as a "set loan period". The parent club has always got the right to recall any of their players if they wish. And to be fair, that's how it should be.

Without the DR system we wouldn't have access to players like Miloudi, Jez Litten, and now Liam Harris.

In a perfect world, it'd be great if we could manage without DR and Loans but a League One club can't easily attract and keep players that are too good for the league we're playing in. Just like the Championship clubs find it hard to stop Super League teams poaching their better players.

We've got to try to work will Hull to make the whole system operate as well as it possibly can for both parties. Without the relationship with Hull, I have no doubt we'd be worse off.

Without the DR system we wouldn't need to loan back players like miloudi and harris, there's more cons that pro's I'm afraid.

Do London have first call on him or is it simply down to Hull where the lad ends up on loan.

If it is to be the Dons he will be a welcome addition IMO.

It doesn't appear as though London have any priority although I suspect it's hard for us to know any of the finer details in the Hull/London matters.

I'd guess that it's Hull's decision. From the Hull Daily Mail article, Lee Radford seems to want him to get settled in in this area in preparation for him being first-team ready for next season. Being at Donny seems to make sense; sending him back to London wouldn't seem to fit.

Its only good news if he's any good which we will have to find out.
And hope he's not like that other useless lump we've got.
