As for defence it aint that bad, its just he plays we an attack minded centre which has left him open at times, an area to work on but not poop IMO...

The Dons will be in Fev's league (not class necessarily) next season so that would be a disappointment.

He's a versatile bloke is Hodgson. He's been scoring points for Gateshead and Donny according to most papers.

Tom has not played since he broke his thumb(playing for the dons)however he has trained for the last 3 weeks.but due to the success of the team the coaching staff decided not to change, credit to them maybe if dons needed a breakthrough player then he might be given a chance. although it is different if you are a duel reg.tom has had a great season and hid commitment has never faltered.the dons fans are terrific and the success is deserved.come on you dons

I think that Tom scored a damned sight more points in attack than he ever conceeded in defence, and that to leave him out is madness.
And furthermore, it is tantamount to driving him into the arms of a rival.
Stupid IMHO.
People come to watch flair players that excite.

What if he's already decided to leave, SO? We're better off playing someone who will have their heart in it.

All tom wants to do is to get back playing for donny hes gutted the club has left him out, we fully understand why.i will be supporting doncaster both in rugby and business.I work in doncaster and i am proud to be associated with your club.if i could get more poeple down to experience the great support i would drive them in myself.

Where does the info come from that he has been left out? haven't seen team news for tomorrow . If he has, im sure Tony Miller has his reasons,hasn't done too badly with team selections so far this season has he.

What has happened is that we have managed without Tom in his absence.
But that is because the team has been jigged around with Waterman going to fullback and returnees have got back into the side and also Walshaw has proved a success.

Now, let's just stick to wingers shall we because that is what this is all about.
Much as I like Sando and China, they are wingers who get tries now and again, but they are good tacklers.
But Hodson is a try scoring machine who also kicks goals better than anyone in the entire Dons squad, and barring his injury could well have been the leading try scorer and points scorer himself over the very gifted Lee Waterman.
And yet he is left out?

Now he must be fit, he is as far through as chip, as fit as a butcher's dog.
It's a no-brainer for me, there is no room for sentiment here.
Although I do admire loyalty, it can be misplaced.
Still we will see, the proof of the pudding and all that, but we risk losing a rare talent in Tom.
