It was good to see the Eagles fans making a good effort to turn up this Sunday. Maybe the club could make a bid to promote the NRC game with some special offers or promotion and try to crack the 1,000 barrier?

Well the Eagles won, so every one of the Eagles fans who turned up plus a few more have every reason to turn up and watch their side try to repeat the performance.
On the Dons side we will have Paul Cooke hopefully turning out.
So I don't see why it shouldn't be possible, with a bit of promotion.

I suspect there will be a few missing from the potential travelling fans, as it's Sheffield Wednesday V Sheffield United on the same day.

Wednesday v United kicks off at 13:00 on police advice - Dons v Eagles at 15:00. Kind of irrelevant to me now as I haven't got a ticket and it's sold out, so i'm off to Donny!

Is the Wed/Utd game on TV?

Well done to 'Dons News' for advertising early bird tickets on the Eagles forum.

I'm ready for a care home.
I only went and bought an early bird ticket over the phone last week, and me being a season ticket holder and all.
Silly old bugger.
I got my £8 back, but it cost me 50p for the pleasure of the card transaction.

And then I bought a half-time draw ticket outside, sat down inside and noticed it had no number on it.

After realising I had drawn a blank, I swapped it for a losing ticket.
I should have kept the blank as a souvenir.

What a good idea I can just see the end of the queue waiting to be paid out, why cant I think of things like that.
