I guess that there will be some changes for this game, cant see him risking Ben Johnston or Travis for this match. Would like to see Ben Howe on the bench at least, is he the only squad member not to have had a run out yet this year?
A win is always good but not concerned if we lose this match, just hope there are no further injuries that cause concern.

I note they have subsequently 'tweeted' at 5.16 that it was in fact 24-20.

That goal kick was obviously following a lengthy delay (only joking).

Well... what an exciting game! There were both positives and negatives for both sides to take away from this game.

The Workington left edge caused us huge problems when then went forward but for the most part the Dons had the best of the possession and edged it in the forwards. Connor Robinson looked good with ball in hand and with the boot.

Had Workington run the ball into the corner on the sixth tackle in the 79th minute, instead of kicking through, we wouldn't have won... but what a great length of the field run from Tom Halliday!

Our forwards seem to be coping with the demands better this season. We still seem vulnerable to teams with a bit of pace on the edges though.

Who will we get in the next round? Hopefully, a money-spinner that might bring in a few quid... preferably at home. The draw in on Wednesday at 6pm, live on the BBC iPlayer and BBC sport website.

16 teams are in the next round, the 8 winners are then reduced to 4 before the Super league teams come in. In effect, we have to win two more games before we might play a Super League team.

We went...it was exciting.
Jack Potter was full of vim and vigour and was great to watch going forward.
Being so small led him to be targeted and Worky had joy down our right side.
We need Tali and Johnston back and a replacement for Boas ...we are making hard work of it.

Connor was my Man of the match yesterday, he controlled the game and once again all the good stuff came through him. His start to this season has been top drawer, and 3 of the 4 games have been won cause of his goal kicking.

But a special mention has to go to Dean Roberts, again his start of the season has been a huge positive, but yesterday, unless I missed something, he player the full 80 minutes

Potter has come on loan for just two weeks initially, is he worth keeping for a longer period?
