Just listened to last weeks "In the Dugout" and Carl has stated that the 3 final round candidates haven't been mentioned by the supporters yet so that does open up a whole can of worms as to who it could be.....they are all top draw applicants so in the tradition of these things who else can we feed into the rumor mill.

Who else has been mentioned by supporters, apart from Bobby Goulding? If we can list them here, we can then rule them out if Carl is right when he says the three on the list haven't yet had a mention.

Thats a surprisingly good shout DHKR I was only thinking the other day what he would be up to now, he did well at HKR and has experience of the lower leagues.

I'd be happy to see him appointed....tho assistant coach at Melbourne Storm atm....swapping Melbourne for a summer in Doncaster doesn't seem to make sense

I think the name of the new coach will certainly give us clues with regard to the club's ambition.

If it is a recognised big name, they almost certainly wouldn't come unless a serious playing budget had been agreed.

The Dons are proud to announce that they have appointed the first female coach in RL ......
Her name is Wifreda Beehive, and she is fresh from coaching RU side Wasps B(ee) team.

A spokesman for the Dons said .... 'As soon as we found out the new coach could increase our seating by 50 and give us an extra toilet as well, we were sold!'

'All based in this country and not tied to other Clubs' would also seem to rule out currently employed assistant coaches - unless of course they are working without contracts.

Be interesting to see who our next coach is as will show the ambition the club have.
From all the names mentioned so far Brian Noble or Justin Morgan would be amazing appointments , however a more realistic choice would be Graham Steadman or Karl Harrison, as Karl is in a job the former would be a more logical choice.

I've heard on the grapevine that its the old fans favourite

Think its already been said but this appointment will determine how serious club doncaster wants a successful rugby league side, its a shame tony miller has ruled himself out cos ive got plenty of time for him.
