Why bother?

You never have to give up in life. I know all the cards are stacked against us but we have to keep going and keep doing the best we can, even if it is unlikely to be good enough.

We could well end up on this bad losing run that S/O mentioned the other day but we've got to keep trying.

It's up to GT and others to lift spirits and sort out a game plan for friday. They can come back and a win will put them back on track.

What with what has happen and based on what I saw yesterday and the fresh injuries, unless we meet a similarly crippled side, we will not win a single one of the seven games .... and heads will roll.

I also feel let down by what has happened this season. I'm sure we all do to varying degrees but I think the best way to try to help us move forward is to stand by the club, keep supporting them and hope we can all move forwards together.

And how long do we have to keep doing this for, it has to come to an end sometime, cant just keep banging your head against a brick wall.

Talk about doom and gloom ! The season is far from over. Dons have six games to recover the situation and it's up to the coach,players and fans to give the maximum in order to get to a play-off place at least.

We don't know the full reason why we have put out a team without any steerage but the ones running the club do and they should feel the anger from us on here. How the heck are we suppose to compete for the next six games in this state?

Even the faithful 300 are not happy bunnies , the half back situation should have been resolved at the beginning of the season . God knows how many will bother for the rest of the season. A fan ripping up his season ticket should tell the club something is wrong.

Will Hull be willing to help us if it is true that we turned down a half back last week who has experience of this league and played for us previously.

hi peeps, well what can I say despite protests from the family I dragged everyone back from our weekend away so I could come and watch the game, what an idiot. AS far as I can see the season ended last Sunday , hopeless situation were sinking very quickly. Im not going to go on about all the errors /mistakes / penalties, ect ect, as its all been said. I cant see us winning another game this season with all the injuries and the ones we picked up Sunday , we aint got a team. I will see out the season (home games only) after that well time will tell. I cant bring my self to admit it but this season may be my last after 33 yrs a lot of time and money all fizzled away to nothing.

We would have had to sign him or on loan b4 Friday 22/7. Donot think there was a half back eligible under dual reg.

Because of the uncertainty over fixtures until the regular season was over, I ended up committed to functions on two Sundays where we are now at home. A Friday evening fixture at Hunslet and the prospect of a trip to York on a Wednesday or Thursday and my season is literally petering out. Couple that with the fact that we aren't competitive now the heat is on and its no wonder that enthusiastic supporters become disillusioned.

Jordon Howden and Mason Tonks return. Keiron Cross, Matty Welham, and Aaron Jones Bishop are in the squad. No Feka again though. There are a few ex-Dons players in the Hunslet squad. Stu Sanderson has been scoring plenty of tries since signing for them shortly before the transfer deadline:

No Feka, why sign up to dual reg and then not use it, with the injuries it seems a strange decision by GT to turn him down if that's is the decision he's made then if we don't get promoted he should resign.
