I was sat in the main stand as a recent knee operation prevents me from standing for a long period of time.
The banter between the fans was lighthearted and non offensive as far as I could hear, however banter is one thing, abuse is another and totally unacceptable.
I didn't hear anyone being abusive in the stands and you could see the fans laughing and joking behind the posts with good friendly banter.
I did notice Jez being escorted from the ground , don't know if this had an anything to do with him.

He was escorted out after the RFL observing official pointed him out to the stewards to get him removed for what he was shouting at the referee. I Asked the steward what was said, it rhymed with James hunt

and some other expletives thrown in for good measure

He needs to keep off the ale , his mouth is gonna get him in trouble one day, which is a shame as he is a nice guy.

I was stood behind the posts but can't remember anything abusive shouted at him (I shouted remember when you never used to play in the right position for us?, but I wouldn't say that's abusive and if it was it was criticising team selection rather than him), but there was a whole lot of overlapping shouts at time so wouldn't have heard it all. Most of the shouting at the Dewsbury players was aimed at thingy Graham who was giving it the biggun, and one that needed irony explaining after he was doing the whole scoreboard pointy thing.

Sad to hear about any poor comments, but the irony of any Dewbury player giving it large after last season when they couldn't win a bloody argument. Stupid is as stupid does.
