| May be on my own on this one but if Cookey showed his annonoyance in the way that Wanderer described I for one love it. It hurts and it stays hurting and you take it to the next game. I love that kind of hurt it makes you want to get it right next time. Just my opinion but all hail fair well and shaking hands crap doesn't always cut it.

| They were annoyed and upset with how they performed , rightly so, but games like that happen, Batley out enthused us, but I thought it strange so many walked out after how the team performed against Halifax, they didn't go out to deliberately lose. Short memories and all that, but each to their own, could have understood if it had happened week in week out.

| Personally, I think that the players and supporters need to stand by each other when things go wrong.
We need to let the players know we're still behind them (even if we are hurting because of a defeat) and the players need to come and acknowledge the fans.
I'd even go further and say that an after match interview at pitch-side with Paul Cooke would have helped. We could have seen the emotion from him and we would have realised we, as supporters, weren't the only ones feeling bad.
In fact, I'd like to see a regular pitch-side interview immediately after every game as I feel it would help bring players and fans closer together.
If supporters feel they need to show their disapproval of a performance by leaving early, then that's their right too.

| I went for a bus ...... missed a minute.
I did have two others with me that don't attend all games and were excited in anticipation to watch the game after the superb Fax result.
I should imagine that, like me, they expected a cracker of a game, really tight and hard-fought ..... and close.
Batley with everything to play for and Ben Black guiding them to me were slight favourites, but might crumble under the pressure of it all.
But a thrashing .... never, Reittie making our life misery ...never!
Now you can argue any way you like, Batley will argue, quite rightly, that everything they got they worked for and was a result of pressure ... fine!
No doubt they deserved their victory and I am glad they are stopping up.
[size=150But[/size ...when you look at the detail, from a Dons supporter's view, that was an amateurish fist of it that Donny made.
Let's just examine it a bit .... it starts with a lovely kick into the corner for Reittie to leap like a salmon and pluck it out of the air and almost unopposed plonk it down. Now those are hard to defend, a defender against an attacker running in and having the advantage in the jump.
Fine, except that Sando stood there like a cardboard cut-out.
The overall effect of that was a feeling of DURRR!!!!!!
Nevermind, the game is young .... on we go! Forward lads on the attack!
So we have them on their try line trying to come out, it's gonna be hard, we are going to bang them and force the error!
But no, we decide at this point to enact a scene from the bible ... the parting of the Red Sea.
One man takes on about five and not one of them stands in his way, I don't think he hardly had to jink.
Off he trots with good support and his mate saunters in under the posts ....we couldn't catch them.
The overall effect of that was a feeling of DURRR!!!!!!
Nevermind, the game is young ... on we go!
Except of course that Batley are laughing, have relaxed and are fancying that this is their day.
We get back in the game a bit, the overall impression is that they are blowing and we'll have them eventually.
But no, we are looking dangerous but decide to be benevolent instead to our neighbours and throw an intercept.
We catch them this time but quickly they score a try as a result.
The overall effect of that was a feeling of DURRR!!!!!!
And so on into the second half, the chronology of it all doesn't matter, among the tries that Batley scored was one where, and forgive me if I imagined it .... we were coming out of defence under our posts (yeah, we had the ball), I turned to pick up my pint for a sip and in the millisecond it took to do that looked back to see Batley with the ball going in under the post and their team in raptures.
The overall effect of that was a feeling of DURRR!!!!!!
And so after those four incidents all resulting in tries .....for the newcomers eager to see this spectacular Dons outfit that murdered Fax,
yeah you guessed it ......the overall effect of that was a feeling of DURRR!!!!!!
