Quote ="Wanderer"The one where the 2 TJ's both stood their ground independently of each other only to be individually overruled was nothing short of staggering ... can't recall too many instances of that
A couple of other tries seemed to really upset the players too. One in the first half which looked a knock on and one in the second which looked a double movement.
That said we certainly contributed to our own downfall, 2 attacking kicks resulting directly in Keighley tries, 1 dropped catch for another and some very poor attempts at tackles where Keighley players simply ran through us.
Need to pick ourselves up, dust ourselves down and tighten up defensively for the visit of the Eagles.

Gary has hit the nail on the head with this post. The worrying thing though about the 2 attacking kicks is that they were both shockers , the first one the only player who was switched on to it was Paul March and the second one was caught by Shickell who is about as quick as me and went 80 metres with it!
The first half affair though with the ref was a joke. We had one disallowed and also a certain try chalked off for obstruction and all the players couldn't believe it.Then the farce with Keighleys try and the flag wavers.
P.s Yes the pitch was poor. If I can make my back and front lawns like bowling greens by putting down the right stuff and looking after it then surely rugby clubs can. (The pitch wasn't to blame for the defeat though .Keighley took the chances we gave them and pinched the points)
We have to tighten up on Sunday or the eagles will run riot. The lads need to watch the tape back.It wont make good viewing but we have to learn from it. We shouldn't be conceding 44 points at Keighley.
