It was a good day at Blackpool, about 8-9 Dons fans were in attendance.
We held our own and played some good stuff in the first game and were only just beaten by the overall winners, in the second game we were well beaten by Leigh but the 3rd game, we again held our own against a unbeaten Hunslet side and lost 24 - 16, and because of the score it prevented Hunslet from progressing to the next round.
Nice to see local boy Ash Williams in the Hunslet team, Ash who played for the Bentley Comps last year as progressed into the Hunslet reserve side under the management of another of our own guys Shane Miller.
Can i just say a big thanks to the players and backroom staff who chatted freely to the small band of Dons supporters who were there.
