Regards the rumour mill, David Solomona anyone? out of contract at Wire this year and is still a big handful for any defence in Super League. Matty Blythe as already mentioned is another i would take from Wire and Carvell if he doesn't sign another deal.

Problem with Solomona is he is a luxury wire can afford at the moment. Playing little spells around a quality back row that could play 80mins if need be and in players like Atkins and Bridge two solid defensive centres. Could we afford that luxury? Only time will tell I guess but you'd fear he could be a liability if we needed him to play 60mins a week etc.

Just for the record JoeyViking has never asked any 'celebrit' etc for a RT.

I see your point but do you not think Solomona could be played in longer spells if needed, I know 60 minute spells may be a lot to ask but is it not more of a case Wire play him like they do because that's all they need of him, coming to Widnes maybe he'd be able to play more than he does for them.

I heard that we're in for Garreth Carvell, who has been better for Wire than Morley this season. Any Wire fans know his contract situation?

Carvell is out of contract and it was reported somewhere he'd instructed his agent to find him an NRL deal. I'd presume if that didn't cone off he'd stay put but maybe wire have planned on him not staying?
