I've resisted the urge to join this forum as sometimes I find the to and froing between supporters a little tedious and sad at times but the constant Halifax "trolling" of this board is getting ridiculous. Good friendly banter and tongue in cheek predictions is all part and parcel of supporting, I appreciate that. But some of the outlandish predictions that are being made before even a ball has been put on to a tee beggars belief. I think Halifax fans are the most one-eyed, rose tinted glasses wearing, ignorant, arrogant, ill informed bunch of cretins I have seen in all my years of supporting this game.

I don't understand why on Fax's board there isnt a thread simply entitled "Erections" where the fans in question can compare each other's levels of excitement when thinking about Worrincy's "cracking year to come" or Fat Frank's backside in shorts. Then again, there isn't an "enlarge photo" button on here so that might be a reason.
No doubt fax fans will reply with more Pro-Fax Kings of the World pigswill as they are still searching for that life that they need to get.

If I shared the same brand of school boy humour as you i.e the reference to my mum, which granted is absolutely hilarious and possibly the most modernist unique quip i have personally ever heard, I could tease you for fax not being made favourites for the NRC this year. Absoloute travesty if you ask me especially when you consider the outstanding achievements of your club in recent memory.
But if I did that the more educated amongst fax fans, well actually just the educated, would tell me that nothing is won on paper. Which is absolutely correct of course, which makes the keyboard orgies over your squad list all the more amusing.

Yeah and like I said banter and all that caper is all part of the game and I can be quite partial to a bit myself but there comes a point where it just gets dull and repetitive. Everybody thinks their team is the best, thats why we support them, but the vast majority of us can deploy a bit of logic and reasoning in to our arguments. It would seem though that the odd one or two, and yes every team will have them, seem to have found their way on to this board 24/7 citing the same arguements and counter arguements.

I agree it good as banter and i would love widnes to win the league.We can do it depending how the youth players develop aswell.I think grady,houghton and flynn be better players this year, after last years experience.Mullaley is a very big lad and hope he comes a revelation.Thompson another unknown, but got rave reviews at blackpool, unlike josh simm.With 2 more dual contract players, i am confident we will be up their.I look forward to the season and all the best to everyone in the league.May the best team win.Widnes Vikings.

Yeah I am much happier about how the setup looks now. In the past we have bought in bulk if you like and announced numerous signings that on paper seemed to be put us way ahead. And we all know that never really worked out. This year has been a slower, painful at times, affair for us and it has been other teams that have took the spotlight in that sense. And more power to them for doing so. I think Dean will prove quality, when available of course, and I think the pack now has the power and punch that it had when we played our best last year. Another couple to come as you say and we are starting to look very tidy. We can barter on about off field pros and cons all we like without any of us really knowing all the ins and outs and politics. The only thing we can really judge is on the field and not only hasnt that started yet, but it will prove very interesting when it does.

A very refreshing attitude to have there Dors. Always nice to see.
