99 % of the people in that stadium , players ,fans,coaches,officials were expecting a fairly comfortable Widnes win
So it was never ' comfortable ' , and with 1 minute to go we took the lead
The drama of that is what sport is all about , not Franchises , Not the business model , not modern stadia , it was brilliant
That is why we go

Surely it was better than a couple of years ago when you were all leaving at half time , or the match at Hilton park when you nilled us
I have no doubt you will recover and whoever you play on monday will suffer as a result of yesterday
Whats the odds on you lot giving us a good beating in the return match now , much lower I would guess , Mr Cullen will not even need to speak to your players to motivate then for that match

Even Ned said the guy wasn't fit and he played on one for leg for about 60 minutes and tackled like a trojan and took constant hit ups and managed to get the ball free in the tackles which were starting to cause you problems. To put him in the same 'league' as Doran for that game is ludicrous.

Agreed, but Saints are very good to watch though maybe I should stop watching Saints Leeds etc, setting my standards far to high for championship level |

Leigh were quite poor, we were ing awful, but credit to leigh for taking their chance when it needed it.
We are a joke, and I don't know why Widnes fans are getting on their high horses about Leigh fans coming on here, because if the table were turned the usual suspects would be on Leyth forum on the Wind up.

Sour grapes my . Leigh deserved the victory because they wanted it more, Thats not sour grapes thats a FACT. Sour grapes is when you blame everyone and everything about a defeat. We had no one to blame but ourselves. Hobson a revelation??, he couldnt break wind mate. I've already said Thackaray is a one trick pony on numerous occasions, both when he played for Cas and now Widnes so your right on that score buts thats all, your talkin out your about the rest!!!
