32 - 24 final score to us. Slow first half and a scrappy 2nd half. We looked a hell of a lot sharper once Smith was back on the field and it showed with the way we moved up the field. At least we showed good character to dig in and pull back to finish in style. Well done Widnes, I'll eat my words.

We got what we went for, but if we play like that against Fax theres only one winner! Great final 15 minutes to seal the win.

But the main reason for that was because when he was off it took Webster away from first receiver, leaving Thackeray and Hartley at half backs. Both of these players are second receivers therefore we struggled to get the ball wide like we do when Webster is there.

Webster has been mr Average this year so far, not a patch on his Hull KR days. Thacks had a bad day and Doddy had a shocker. Lee Doran setup 2 and generally played very well so well done him and well done Kev Penny.

I don't think we were that bad. Plenty to work on but I think we showed some class to grind out that win. That's one of the toughest away fixtures in the season when you take everything into account and we've come away with 3 points. We can build on that for 'fax and the team can go home content with doing the job.

Thought Grayshon was poor for 10 mins and that led to 2 Toulouse tries.

Defense near line was generally poor.

Thought we showed passion and commitment to come back.

I was annoyed/frustrated at mistakes but proud we didn't give up.

I agree it's one of the toughest but we played pretty much one man rugby all night. Still a wins a win and a huge improvement on effort and desire must be made for next week.

I thought it was a decent performance considering they are such a tough team to beat.. they look like a big side and play no nonsense rugby.

I'd say Webster has been good this year. He's obviously not as young as he was at Hull Kr but he's still got a good rugby brain and it's no coincidence that we have started to perform better since Cull gave him the job of organising us around the park.

Fax will be difficult but that is a big feather in our cap tonight. Well done to them and well done to the travelling fans..

What a game! I don't care how scrappy it was, we've won! Great winning try by Penny set up by Dodd. Had his goal kicking boots on, which had he not we could have lost to be fair. Pity about his catching today.

Penny's try in the last minute of the first half was magic. Very well taken. I thought we'd lost out mid way through the second when they went 8 points up and were taking it to us but we stood firm, got a few lucky handling errors go our way and romped home.

Massively chuffed by that one because I thought we'd lose and we just haven't.

TBF if i had been there my garlic and french stick would have found the back of doddys head. Can never knock his effort but he's awful at catching sometimes.

I agree about Doddy. Really like the guy but wasn't a great full back performance. A few decent runs though.

The reason we played so much 1 man stuff is that they were tough to break down. No point forcing the play until they're on the back foot.. That final 15 minute spell we started to dominate in attack and we were able to throw the ball about more..

Home turf next week will give the team a big lift after 3 tough games on the road. They've got 5 days to recover and get fit for next week. It's going to take a massive effort but 'fax are coming off the back of another loss and a run of poor form.
